As you may or may not know, I serve on the Board of the Alzheimer's & Dementia Resource Center (ADRC). Over the past 35 years, the ADRC has helped over 85,000 Central Florida caregivers. Our mission is to provide support and hope to families and individuals caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or some form of dementia. The programs and services we offer FREE of charge to caregivers include one on one care counseling, workshops, support groups and resource and referral guidance.
I am thrilled to share The Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has awarded our organization a $15,000 matching gift to inspire giving in celebration of the Center's 35th Anniversary.
